Last week, Fall Out Boy marked their spectacular return with the brand-new single “Love From The Other Side.” Now, the band are providing one other preview of their new period with “Heartbreak Feels So Good.”
The new track comes forward of their much-anticipated eighth studio album, So Much (For) Stardust, which is out March 24 on Fueled By Ramen. Neal Avron, the producer who helmed From Under the Cork Tree, Infinity on High, and Folie à Deux, is again behind the boards as effectively. The track dropped together with a goofy video, directed by Whitey McConnaughy and that includes a cameo of Rivers Cuomo from Weezer.

Coinciding with the single launch, tonight Fall Out Boy will return to the Chicago suburbs with a last-minute, sold-out present at Metro as a part of its Fortieth-anniversary celebrations. (The identical venue hosted Metallica for $20 tickets in 2021, in addition to the Smashing Pumpkins final 12 months.) The intimate gig alerts their first time taking part in the venue since 2013 — and even again then they ended with the everlasting “Saturday.”
Apart from their traditional lineup, founding guitarist Joe Trohman shall be absent from the homecoming. Hours after the album announcement final week, he shared that he was briefly stepping away from the band to prioritize his psychological well being. Don’t fear, although, as Trohman guarantees that he’ll rejoin his bandmates as soon as he’s in a greater headspace.
