A person recognized as Linus Dimas has been arrested for allegedly killing a court docket clerk, Yauba Usman, despatched to summon him in Adamawa State.
The Adamawa state Command made this recognized in an announcement on Tuesday, disclosing that its officers arrested the suspect on Monday, December 18.
Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje stated Linus, 43, stabbed the clerk of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court severely when he confirmed up at his place to serve him with the court docket summons.
The suspect, a resident of Kugama Wuro Jibir, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area was stated to have rejected the summons.
According to the assertion:
“The suspect, on December 18, 2023, rejected court summons served on him by Yauba Usman, a staff of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court and stabbed him severally with a knife, thereby inflicting deep cuts on him.”
The police added that the court docket clerk was instantly rushed to the hospital, the place he was confirmed useless.
