Melissa Gorga opened up her and Joe Gorga‘s new dwelling for a tour earlier this week.
After showcasing a lot of areas of the six-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot dwelling, together with its kitchen, master suite, and in-ground pool, in current weeks, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star showcased never-before-seen rooms, together with their two bars and Joe’s poker site.
Amid Melissa’s February 14 tour with Entertainment Tonight, she spoke to reporter Brice Sander.
After taking Brice into her dwelling workplace, which boasts glass partitions and built-in shelving, Melissa stated the non-public house was a “must.”
“I spend a lot of time in my office, I’m on Zooms all day… so I wanted it to be part of the house, but I also wanted to have my own little space,” she defined.
“It’s bougie,” Melissa continued of her workplace. “The chandelier that’s all crystal and diamond… I’m very happy in there.”
On the opposite facet of the lobby from Melissa’s dwelling workplace is the smaller of Melissa’s two bars, the place she and Joe take pleasure in “small [cocktails] before [they] go out to dinner.”
After joking that her small bar acted because the “lobby” of her dwelling, Melissa took Brice downstairs for a take a look at her bigger bar.
“This is the fun zone. This is where you really like, kick off your shoes,” she declared.
Just past the bar is a poker site.
“You can imagine the Real Housewives of New Jersey men and the games of poker they are going to play in this room,” Melissa predicted, noting that she and Joe made a deal as they constructed the home that she would get an workplace whereas he’d get a poker site.
“It’s always ready to go. The house is always stocked with liquor, at any time,” she continued. “You want the invite to a Gorga party!”
Also downstairs is a gymnasium.
There’s additionally a movie-watching house.
“When the kids come over with their friends and stuff… they hang out over here,” Melissa revealed.
Moving again upstairs, Melissa moved her glass doorways to the facet as she showcased her outside patio and kitchen.
“A big part of the house, we wanted the indoor-outdoor space. So when it’s not freezing in New Jersey, we’ll spend a lot of time out here,” she shared, noting, “There’s barbecue and stuff like that.”
Also throughout her chat with Brice, Melissa was requested if the false dishonest rumors that arose amid RHONJ season 13 made their bond any stronger.
“I’m not going to say it strengthened it, but I will say, like, there’s a lot of outside noise, especially on reality television,” she admitted. “We are one of the longest-standing couples on reality TV in general. [So] there’s a lot of noise out there, and we’ve learned to tune it out and not listen to it.”
Despite the chances being stacked in opposition to them, Melissa and Joe, who’ve been married for 18 years, have remained devoted to at least one one other and the well being of their relationship.
“At the end of the day, Joe and I spend so much time together, we really do. We keep our feet on the ground, we understand the chaos that comes with being on this show but we just keep it very normal in this house,” she defined. “Even with our kids and like with school stuff, we just don’t allow the noise to come in.”
