Milan Kundera, Author of THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING, Has Died at 94

Czech-born creator Milan Kundera died Tuesday in Paris, France after a chronic sickness. He was 94.

Though he was a giant supporter of the Communist Party early on, his first novel, The Joke, printed in ’67, satirically criticized totalitarianism throughout the celebration. Despite the e book’s authorities detractors, it was broadly acclaimed.
