My Marital Issues, Exclusion As An Actor, Got Me Depressed For A Long Time – Emeka Ike Reveals » Naijaloaded

Veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike not too long ago disclosed his ordeal after being depressed for a very long time, as he discusses his marital points and conflicts encountered with colleagues throughout the Nollywood trade, which account for his prolonged absence from the display screen.

In a current interview on Channels TV “Rubbin’ Minds,” Emeka Ike opened up about his struggles, expressing that the despair stemmed from marital points, main him to take a backseat from his buzzing profession.

Emeka Ike attributed his absence from the film trade to the trade’s shift from VCD to bigger screens, which affected the demand for his expertise.

He talked about that he, together with different colleagues who’ve light from the highlight, weren’t included within the transition.

On how he overcame his challenges, he stated;

“When you realize that they’re actually after you for who you are, you ask yourself, ‘What do I do next?’. I just kept doing the things I needed to do properly. I kept working on myself to be who I am now.”
