EXCLUSIVE: Nadia Forde has joined the solid of Conflict, the Finnish political thriller collection from Rebellion director Aku Louhimies and XYZ Films.
Forde, who starred in Once Upon a Time in London, will play Claire Belfort, a daughter of a high-profile American household who will get caught up within the battle.
Louhimies, the Finnish multi-hyphenate, introduced Conflict two years in the past and the six-part collection is now taking pictures in Helsinki. It will premiere subsequent 12 months in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The story follows an unknown army unit because it invades a peaceable seaside city in Finland. All residents are taken hostage, together with Annika Berg, a Finnish military soldier.
In seconds, her army train turns into an actual disaster, with true casualties. No one is aware of if that is an remoted incident or step one in direction of a world battle.
Other solid contains Peter Franzén (Vikings), Sara Soulié (The Man Who Died), and Pirkka-Pekka Petelius (Team Ahma).
Conflict is produced by Andrei Alén and Louhimies for Backmann & Hoderoff and C More/MTV3 in Finland, with backing from Business Finland, the City of Hanko, and XYZ Films. Finnish Defence Forces can also be supporting.
