Nancy Buirski’s look inside the making of an X-rated Best Picture winner has discovered a house. Kino Lorber in affiliation with Zeitgeist Films have introduced the acquisition of all North American distribution rights to “Desperate Souls, Dark City and the Legend of Midnight Cowboy.” Zeitgeist will open the movie theatrically in North America starting at New York’s Film Forum in late June earlier than increasing nationwide, adopted by a digital, academic, and house video launch by Kino Lorber.
Released in 1969, “Midnight Cowboy” tells the story of a Texas dishwasher to strikes to New York City searching for fortune and the man he befriends whereas dwelling in an deserted constructing.
