Major League Baseball will not be the one sport wanting to make important rule changes to speed up games. The NCAA can also be proposing guidelines that might have a major influence on the speed of games and the way they’re performed.
According to school soccer insider Brett McMurphy, the NCAA guidelines committee is proposing to not cease the clock after first downs (besides in the final two minutes of every half) and not permit groups to take consecutive timeouts.
The proposed changes can be voted on in April.
