Director Kurt Wimmer’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s basic horror story Children of the Corn has been picked up by RLJE Films and AMC community’s horror streaming service Shudder.
In this new tackle the story, which serves as a prequel, “a psychopathic 12-year-old girl in a small town in Nebraska recruits all the other children and goes on a bloody rampage, killing the corrupt adults and anyone else who opposes her. A bright high schooler who won’t go along with the plan is the town’s only hope of survival.”
I used to be questioning what was occurring with this film because it premiered a pair of years in the past. But, it should now get a theatrical launch on March third earlier than hitting On Demand and Digital on March twenty first. The film marks the eleventh entry within the franchise.
Mark Ward, Chief Acquisitions Officer of RLJE Films, stated in an announcement: “We’re thrilled to work with Kurt Wimmer and bring his vision of this classic Stephen King story to new audiences.”
The film stars Elena Kampouris (Before I Fall), Kate Moyer (Station Eleven), Callan Mulvey (The Gray Man) and Bruce Spence (The Road Warrior).
I’m not anticipating this to be an ideal movie, however I’ve been interested in it. So, I’m kinda wanting ahead to watching it. I’m a giant fan of the unique film that was made! It scared the crap out of me once I was rising up!
