Nick Carter and his household are nonetheless grieving the tragic lack of Aaron Carter.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Backstreet Boys member opened up about how his family members are doing as the primary anniversary of his dying approaches in just a few months. And understandably, they’re “still processing” what occurred to him to this very day. Nick shared with the outlet:
“It’s definitely been tough for me and my family. It is still something that we are still processing, to this day. I don’t think we will ever really get over it. It’s been a lot for us, and we are finding ways to try and take a really tragic situation in our family and do something with it.”

According to the 43-year-old performer, that “something” was him and his sister Angel working with the non-profit group On Our Sleeves, which goals to assist youngsters battling their psychological well being. Wow. You can watch his whole interview with ET (beneath):
As you recognize, the 34-year-old singer was discovered useless within the bathtub at his house in Lancaster, California, in November 2022. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later revealed his reason behind dying was unintended after he drowned in a tub “due to the effects” of alprazolam, a generic type of Xanax, and difluoroethane, a flammable gasoline that’s typically present in cans of compressed air. At the time of his dying, Nick was touring with the Backstreet Boys in Europe. He and fellow band members Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough devoted their present on the O2 Arena in London to Aaron. Before performing the music No Place and displaying a video montage of the I Want Candy artist, Kevin informed the viewers:
“[The song ‘No Place’] is very special to us because that song is about family. Everybody in here, we all grew up together. We’ve been through highs and lows, ups and downs.”
He continued:
“Tonight we’ve got heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday, and we just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him. Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter, passed away yesterday at [34] years old. He’s a part of our family. We thank you guys for all the love and the well wishes and all your support.”
So, so unhappy. We proceed to maintain the Carter household in our ideas as they mourn the lack of Aaron.
