Are we on the verge of Nick Fury’s remaining look in the MCU?
The trailer for Secret Invasion positively hints in that route. At the finish of the new teaser, Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury gravely pronounces that he’s concerned in “one last fight,” whereas a collection of title playing cards declares “The end is closer … than we think.” Later, Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes calls Fury “the most wanted man on the planet.” But why?
Surely it has one thing to do with an invasion of the alien shapeshifting race often called the Skrulls. They had been launched to the MCU in Captain Marvel, the place they had been positively a bit extra benevolent than their regular appearances in Marvel Comics. In Secret Invasion, they appear way more in line with their print appearances, after they historically wish to take over the Earth by infiltrating numerous teams and governments — and even typically masquerading as very well-known superheroes.
