Nigerian singer, songwriter, and file producer, David Adedeji Adeleke, identified professionally as Davido, revealed in a current assertion that he believes he deserves greater than 20 Grammy Awards.
In an unique chat with a notable platform, the singer, engaged in dialogue, realized that this 12 months, he has been nominated for the Grammy Awards in three separate classes.
The interviewer, acknowledging Davido‘s distinguished position in Afrobeat on the African continent, requested what the stated nomination means to him personally.
In response, the singer stated,
“Shout out to the academy; this is my first nomination ever, so it’s crazy to get three at one time.”
Speaking additional, he emphasised the onerous work put into the album and file, stating, “We worked really hard on this album, on this record, and I was always just patient.”
He concluded by expressing his perception in deserving a number of Grammys, saying,
“If you ask me if I deserve Grammys in the past, if you ask me, I need 20 Grammys already. But like I said, God’s timing is the best.”
