The Welshman, who is not the biggest fan of the current format, said: “The format is like another event from the quarter-finals onwards. It’s all the things else that comes with it. I believe it simply takes loads out of gamers figuring out that you must play Pro Tours, Europeans. It’s troublesome to play in that format when you’ve got to journey each single week.
