President Jimmy Carter and his spouse Rosalynn have made a shock appearance at the Plains Peanut Festival in Georgia, seven months after he entered hospice care.
The former chief of the free world was caught on digital camera by locals touring in a black SUV along with his spouse, 96, as a part of the parade. They had their home windows down in order that onlookers might spot the pair.
