Real Salt Lake and membership captain Damir Kreilach have mutually agreed to part ways forward of the 2024 Major League Soccer season.
The 34-year-old departs the Western Conference facet after six seasons with RSL, making over 160 appearances throughout all competitions and scoring 56 objectives as a striker. Although the Croatia native discovered the again of the online eight instances final season, the 2 events have agreed to go their separate ways regardless of the membership holding a contract choice for the 2024 season.
Kreilach initially joined Real Salt Lake forward of the 2018 MLS season from then 2. Bundesliga facet Union Berlin, the place he went on to rating 15 objectives and 36 appearances in league play.

The veteran striker solely managed extra objectives in 2021 when he netted 16 instances in MLS, which set a career-high for objectives scored in a season for the previous Rijeka participant. Kreilach helped RSL to a 3rd place end in 2019, their highest ever place throughout his time with the membership.
Kreilach leaves Real Salt Lake in third place on the all-time goalscoring charts behind Javier Morales (60) and Alvaro Saborio (79).
