Veteran musician Eedris Abdulkareem claims that he performed a pivotal position in propelling Nigerian artists like Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid to worldwide recognition.

Abdulkareem asserts that his rise up towards mistreatment by live performance promoters in 2004, which led to a confrontation with American rapper 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew in Nigeria, laid the groundwork for the success of those artists.

Despite acknowledging the non-public penalties of his actions on his profession, Abdulkareem views it as a vital sacrifice that in the end paved the way in which for the rise of stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.

“I have opened the road for them. It’s their responsibility to appreciate the fight. And if them don’t, I don’t give a dime.”
