Titan Comics is releasing a prequel comic for Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon forward of the film’s debut on Netflix Dec. 22.
Rebel Moon: House of the Bloodaxe is a four-part sequence based mostly on a narrative by Snyder and written by Eisner-nominated Mags Visaggio (Kim & Kim, Transformers vs. The Visionaries) with artwork from Clark Bint (Killtopia, Murder Most Mundane) and colours from Francesco Segala (Over the Ropes). Arriving Jan. 10, 2024, Issue #1 contains 4 totally different covers, illustrated by Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau, Rafael Albuquerque, Baldemar Rivas, and Andrea Olimpieri, respectively. Synopsis
Set 5 years earlier than the occasions depicted in Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, the comic HOUSE OF THE BLOODAXE gives backstory for the characters of Devra and Darrian Bloodaxe, leaders of a band of outlaw revolutionaries (performed by Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher), and their formidable household’s historical past.
