Neon has launched the primary trailer for Sydney Sweeney’s upcoming non secular horror film Immaculate. The movie follows a nun named Cecilia, “a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent.”
But, it’s defined that her “warm welcome to the picture-perfect Italian countryside is soon interrupted as it becomes clearer to Cecilia that her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets.” Yep, her expertise turns into a whole nightmare for her.
This looks as if a generic horror film. Judging from the trailer, there’s nothing actually distinctive or totally different about it. I suppose the principle draw is that it’s one thing for followers of Sydney Sweeney to look at.
Immaculate was directed by Michael Mohan (The Voyeurs) from a script by Andrew Lobel. Sweeney stars within the movie alongside Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus), Alvaro Morte (Money Heist), Benedetta Porcaroli (Baby), and Dora Romano (The Hand of God).
Sweeney developed the mission alongside David Bernad and it is going to be launched on March 22, 2024.
