Famous Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, has lastly addressed allegations that he used “satanic/Illuminati” symbols whereas acting on stage at his headline live performance at London’s 02 Arena, on November 14, 2023.

Some followers, who attended the present accused Rema of satanism on social media, saying he used “Illuminati” symbols.
However, reacting by way of his X (previously Twitter) deal with, the Edo-born famous person defined that the factitious horse he rode on stage with was a reproduction of a Benin artifact, and the masks he wore was a reproduction of the well-known Queen Idia masks.
The synthetic bat he rode on stage throughout his second look was stated to be a homage to the bats that dot the Edo evening sky.
Sharing a clip from his controversial live performance, Rema wrote,

Meanwhile, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has congratulated Rema on his sold-out live performance at London’s 02 Arena.
He stated the folks of the state are happy with Rema, “especially his personification of the Edo heritage.”
On his X deal with, Obaseki wrote,
“We are indeed proud of the enigma of @heisrema and what he has come to represent, especially his personification of the Edo heritage. We applaud his genius and celebrate him as he takes the world stage by storm.”
