Tottenham forward Richarlison has shut down rumours over his alleged half in Antonio Conte’s departure and insisted he was not the “mutiny leader” behind the exit of his former supervisor.

Conte left Spurs on Sunday by mutual consent every week on from a rare rant through which he criticised his personal “selfish players” following a 3-3 draw at Southampton.

Richarlison, who was injured through the dramatic St Mary’s conflict, was later accused by a journalist from Argentinian broadcaster TyC Sports of giving an ultimatum to Tottenham alongside membership team-mate Cristian Romero over Conte’s future.

But the Brazil worldwide rejected these allegations on Thursday.

“Questioning and criticising me as a player for my performance is part of football and I got it,” Richarlison mentioned on Twitter.

“However, telling lies about me, I do not settle for! I’ve all the time had plenty of respect for Conte and for all my coaches.

“He helped me loads in my (sic) coming to the Spurs and, every time we had an issue (even when it was public) we solved it based mostly on dialog and professionalism – and this he can verify.

“I wasn’t a mutiny chief in opposition to him, it was fairly the other. I’m sorry I did not ship as a lot as he anticipated of me and I did not do sufficient for him to remain.

“When he left, I sent him a message thanking him for everything and wishing him the best cause that’s what he deserves!

“On the opposite hand, the journalist liable for this terrible lie did not even do the least which might be speaking to my PR or listening to me. Bad skilled and dangerous character! And disgrace on you, TyC Sports!”

Richarlison is about to overlook Tottenham’s first match because the departure of Conte, what would have been his return to Everton on Monday, with a minor muscle damage.
