Ricky Gervais has opinions about 86’ing the phrases “fat” and “ugly” from youngsters’s books, and he concedes it is kid’s play in contrast to what he says onstage.
Ricky is clearly appalled by the transfer to minimize the two phrases from Roald Dahl‘s books for teenagers, mocking the “fragile” and “easily offended.”
This is me pondering whether or not they’ll change any of the phrases I’ve utilized in my work after I’m useless, to spare those that are fragile and simply offended. Words like ‘fats’ and ‘ugly’. And ‘cunt’ and ‘fuck’. And ‘fats, ugly, grasping, pathetic little silly fucking cunt’. Stuff like that. pic.twitter.com/RCV0aNh9f4

As you most likely know, Dahl’s books, notably “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” have been re-issued the place “fat” will now not be used.
