Rod Wave has issued a response to Boosie Badazz after the latter threatened authorized motion towards artists who’ve used his music with out permission.
Wave prominently used the hook from Boosie’s “Long Journey” on his personal music of the identical title, and has now addressed the Baton Rouge rapper’s authorized menace.

In a separate video posted to X, previously referred to as Twitter, Wave added: “Man, you ain’t gotta sue no n-gga like me, man. I’ma pull up and make sure you straight.”

Boosie Badazz had hours earlier written on X: “HOW IS IT FOUL? ITS BUIZNESS N YOU KNOW THAT. YOU AINT GO DO THAT TO NO OTHER MAJOR LABEL WITHOUT COMPENSATING THEM WITH THEY SPLITS‼️ WHY DO IT TO A N-GGA YOU LOOKED UP TOO.
“U EXPECT ME TO LET U TAKE MY KIDS PUBLISHING GTFOH STOP PLAYING VICTIM MY N-GGA IS U GO SAMPLE NO LIMIT, BAD BOY, CASH MONEY, SO SO DEF, MICHEAL JACKSON, MARVIN GAYE [and] PRINCE WORD FOR WORD FOR FREE? NO.”
