According to Deadline, Prime Video has formally granted a sequence order to the upcoming drama titled Motorheads, with Cruel Intentions star Ryan Phillippe hooked up to lead. He shall be joined by Nathalie Kelley (The Baker and the Beauty), Michael Cimino (Love, Victor) and Melissa Collazo (One Of Us Is Lying), who’ve been tapped as a sequence regulars.
Listed beneath are the official descriptions for Phillippe, Kelley, Cimino, and Collazo’s characters:
- Phillippe’s Logan is a former NASCAR mechanic who now owns an auto physique store in his hometown of Ironwood, Pennsylvania. Logan is having bother holding his store afloat and lives within the shadow of his notorious brother, Christian Maddox.
- Kelley’s Samantha is an ER nurse who’s simply left her job in New York City to transfer again along with her youngsters to her rust-belt hometown.
- Cimino’s Zac is aware of his dad was a road racing legend in Ironwood and is desperately attempting to reside up to his father’s fame as one of the best there ever was.
- Collazo’s Caitlyn is Zac’s sister and a mechanical wiz who’s obsessed with vehicles and is aware of how to repair them. Caitlyn hopes that transferring to her mother and father’ hometown will assist her get a clue into the disappearance of their father.
What to count on in Motorheads?
Motorheads shall be written and govt produced by showrunner John A. Norris, with Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) to direct the pilot. Executive producers are Jason Seagraves, Jake Fuller, Dana Brunetti, Keegan Rosenberger, and Ryan Zaragoza. It is a co-production by Jax Media and Amazon MGM Studios.
“The series is about first love, first heartbreak, and turning the key in your very first car,” reads the synopsis. “Set in a once-thriving rust-belt town that’s now searching for a glimmer of hope, the series is the adrenaline-filled story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of automobiles. And while some characters will be navigating the hierarchy and rules of high school, others will be racing from a dark past.”
