Scientists named the spiders after Star Trek’s Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, and Dr. McCoy

The scientists found R. kirk in Costa Rica, discovered R. spock in Campeche, Mexico, and met R. mccoy in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
