Scorpions have introduced their early 2024 plans with a Las Vegas live performance residency beginning this April to have fun the fortieth anniversary of the German laborious rock band’s Love at First Sting, their ninth studio album and North American breakthrough from 1984.
From April 11–May 3, 2024, Scorpions will play 9 dates at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas Strip. Tickets go on sale Nov. 10, with Scorpions Rock Zone members getting unique entry beginning Nov. 6 at 10AM PT. Beyond the residency, Scorpions have already got a summer time pageant date scheduled for Wacken Open Air 2024.

Love at First Sting Residency
On Friday (Nov. 3), the band revealed, “Scorpions are returning to Bakkt Theater for ‘Love at First Sting Las Vegas,’ a brand new exclusive headlining residency show in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their iconic album, Love at First Sting, performing the album and all of their biggest hits April 11–May 3.”
Love at First Sting is commonly cited as an influential album within the growth of laborious rock hair metallic because it got here to fruition within the Nineteen Eighties. The effort’s mixture of heavy guitar riffs, melodic hooks and highly effective ballads influenced many rock bands that adopted.
Love at First Sting spawned the laborious rock staples “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Still Loving You” and “Big City Nights.” Scorpions’ newest LP, their nineteenth, Rock Believer, arrived in 2022.
