Based on the online game created by Ed Boon & John Tobias, the full-length animated film’s crew consists of director Ethan Spaulding and supervising producer Rick Morales. Jeremy Adams, who wrote the earlier three movies, is again because the screenwriter.

If you couldn’t inform from the Cage Match trailer, the film wears its love of ’80s motion films on his sleeve. Unsurprisingly, screenwriter Jeremy Adams cited Shane Black films as a serious inspiration.
