Sofia Vergara has no regrets about ending her marriage to Joe Manganiello, based on her internal circle!
Friends of the Modern Family alum instructed Page Six on Saturday that she is “living her best life” now that she’s left the 46-year-old actor. Why is that? They declare Sofia was “stifled” throughout their marriage since he was “unsupportive” and felt “threatened” by her success! One mentioned:
“She’s spending time with her friends after being stifled in a relationship with a largely unsupportive partner. Sofía was always there to take care of Joe, while his career was never what it was when they met. I think he’s been threatened by her success and joie de vivre.”

What?! Now, that’s a very totally different tune from what we’ve heard about Joe! The Sun beforehand claimed that the Magic Mike star was by no means “really comfortable” with the glitz and the glam of Hollywood and wasn’t enthusiastic about “conquering the world like Sofia is.” So is he actually not comfy with the Hollywood life-style? Or was he simply jealous? Who is aware of!
But there has definitely been quite a lot of hypothesis about what led to this divorce – with many sources agreeing it got here right down to their variations in personalities and existence. One report claimed that Joe’s sobriety damage their relationship as a result of the 51-year-old actress nonetheless drinks. But one pal near each Sofia and Joe instructed Page Six that isn’t the case in any respect:
“Joe is fully secure and at one with his sobriety, and while sobriety is a continuous practice, his ongoing commitment to being sober was never in any way threatened by being married to someone who drinks responsibly. It’s a pathetic attempt to come up with an excuse.”
Whoa!
So what does the mutual pal suppose occurred? The individual defined that the duo’s marriage was fueled by “physical chemistry, though also a lot of loyalty and respect.” However, the eagerness between them didn’t final! Before anybody asks, no – there was no dishonest concerned of their break up in any way simply because their chemistry pale. The former couple’s pal defined:
“Neither of them cheated. They very much did their own thing for large stretches of time and were frequently apart, but they were always able to still feel that passion for each other when they saw each other, but that flame has now gone out.”
There’s little question going by way of a divorce is sure to be laborious on anybody. But for Sofia? The confidant insisted she is doing “fine” and having fun with this subsequent chapter in her life already:
“Sofía seems to be doing absolutely fine — she has all the time and the money in the world to do whatever she wants next.”
Clearly, the America’s Got Talent decide is letting this breakup preserve her down! She has been dwelling it up throughout Italy for her birthday – in all places from Capri to Ravello together with her besties – amid her divorce announcement. As for Joe, although, he has been a tad upset about all the pieces. However, the pal insisted he’ll more than likely transfer on from Sofia with somebody youthful and begin a household finally:
“Joe seems a little more dejected but also resolute in knowing this was the right way to go. A lot of friends expect that he will ultimately move on to someone far younger and will start a family; he’s always wanted kids, and that clearly wasn’t going to happen with Sofía.”
And shifting ahead, don’t count on Joe and Sofia to have a friendship as soon as the divorce papers are signed! Oof. The pal added:
“Sofía and Joe will both be completely fine but … absolutely no one expects their circles to continue to overlap or for there to be any real continuing friendship.”
