Former NBA star Shawn Kemp was arrested following an alleged drive-by taking pictures Wednesday in Washington … TMZ Sports has confirmed.
According to Tacoma PD, an altercation between two automobiles broke out round 2 PM … which resulted in photographs being fired in a shopping center car parking zone.
Cops say one automotive fled the scene and a gun was recovered. No accidents have been reported.
53-year-old Kemp — a six-time All-Star — was booked for felony drive-by taking pictures at 5:58 PM and remains to be in custody on the Pierce County Jail, in keeping with information.
FYI — drive-by taking pictures is a category B felony … which carries as much as a 10-year jail sentence.
Kemp — AKA the “Reign Man” was the seventeenth general choose within the 1989 NBA Draft … and performed for the Seattle TremendousSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers and Orlando Magic over the course of his 14-year profession, averaging 14 factors and eight rebounds a recreation.
The former huge man has been on the forefront of the push to convey an NBA franchise again to Seattle … in hopes of reviving the Sonics.
Kemp was beforehand arrested on two drug-related incidents in 2005 and 2006. He has since ventured into the hashish business … opening a dispensary in 2020.
