Four-time Pro Bowl operating again Dalvin Cook may have a little bit of a wait forward of him to signal with a brand new team after his launch from the Minnesota Vikings.
In an look on “SportsCenter” Saturday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Cook has no visits arrange, and he may even wait till the franchise-tag negotiating window closes in July to select his new team.
“He’s in a little bit of a wait-and-see mode right now,” Fowler mentioned, through Doric Sam of Bleacher Report. “No official visits to teams that I’m aware of, and we talk about the franchise tag with [Saquon] Barkley, Cook can actually wait until July 17 [to sign], I’m told, because you’ve got three running backs on the franchise tag — Tony Pollard, Josh Jacobs.”
There is a few logic to Cook ready to see how these conditions work themselves out before committing to a team. With Barkley at the very least floating a risk to sit down out the 2023 season, Cook may very well be an interesting different to a team that finds itself in a tough spot.
There may be one team Cook is especially excited by as effectively, but it surely’s clear that nothing is imminent on that entrance.
