Liverpool legend and Al Ettifaq supervisor Steven Gerrard has admitted he doesn’t need to see Mohamed Salah comply with him to Saudi Arabia.
The Reds have already misplaced two key gamers to Saudi Arabia this summer time, with Fabinho becoming a member of Al Ittihad and captain Jordan Henderson linking again up with Gerrard at Al Ettifaq, and Saudi officers are understood to be eager to signal Salah.
Fortunately for Liverpool followers, Salah’s agent has already publicly shot down the rumours, insisting the Egyptian doesn’t need to depart Anfield this summer time.
That stance could have gone down properly with Gerrard, who lately confessed that he would slightly see Salah fireplace Liverpool to extra success earlier than making a transfer to the Middle East.

Asked by Sada Al Mala’eb if he would need to signal Salah, Gerrard responded: “No! No, no – the answer is no, because Mohamed Salah is my favourite player, I love Liverpool Football Club, so Mohamed can stay where he is.
“When he wins extra leagues and extra Champions Leagues with Liverpool, we’ll possibly think about it.”
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp recently urged FIFA to look at reducing the length of the Saudi transfer window, which runs until 20 September – 19 days after the European window slams shut.
“The affect of Saudi Arabia is very large in the intervening time,” Klopp said. “Pretty a lot the worst factor is that the switch window in Saudi Arabia is open three weeks longer. If I’m proper, I heard one thing like that, then not less than in Europe that’s not useful.
“UEFA or FIFA must find solutions for that. It’s already influential for us but we will have to learn to deal with it.”
