The first-ever Super Bowl in Las Vegas goes to pay tribute to town in a means that actually screams Sin City — or sings, quite … ‘trigger it is gonna embody the late, nice Frank Sinatra.
Sources with direct information inform TMZ … there will likely be a number of “My Way” tributes prominently featured all through the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast, with Sinatra’s well-known rendition of the tune — written by Paul Anka — being the one to lead the opening phase.
What that is, we’re instructed, is a cheers second for Vegas itself — and what higher means to pay honor the storied desert city than with a track that kinda encapsulates it. And sure, Frank’s model of “My Way” is essentially the most well-known … in order that they’re kicking it off with that one.
Anyway, we’re instructed the Super Bowl broadcast on CBS will present motion pictures of the gamers … like Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Christian McCaffrey.
From there, our sources say CBS will transition to interviews with gamers’ households … speaking about their dads, sons, husbands and brothers … all underscored by a brand new mixture of “My Way.”
We know what the brand new “My Way” combine entails too … our sources inform us there’s going to be a stay orchestra, with Sinatra singing on the massive screens inside and out of doors The Sphere, the latest live performance venue on The Strip.
BTW, Usher himself will even give a “My Way” shout-out throughout his Halftime efficiency … and we’re instructed it will be one for the books and extremely highly effective. So, yeah … the ‘MW’ theme will likely be working all through the course of the sport, it appears — begin to end.
Bottom line … it is a tip of the hat to Fabulous Las Vegas, and CBS/the NFL are leaning all the way in which into it.
