The first Reality teaser trailer for HBO Films‘ forthcoming biographical drama thriller has been launched that includes Sydney Sweeney.
As the one-minute Reality teaser trailer exhibits, the Euphoria star portrays real-life whistleblower Reality Winner. Winner, a former US Air Force member and NSA translator, uncovered Russia’s involvement within the 2016 U.S. presidential election. The movie is slated to premiere on May 29 on HBO and Max.

Based on Tina Satter’s play Is This A Room, Reality is directed by Tina Satter from a screenplay written by Satter and James Paul Dallas. The movie stars Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus), Josh Hamilton, and Marchánt Davis.
“On June 3, 2017, 25-year-old former American intelligence specialist Reality Winner is confronted by FBI agents arriving at her home to question her suspected role in the mishandling of classified information,” reads the logline. “Based on true occasions, the movie’s dialogue is immediately from the transcript of their tense and transfixing dialog.
Reality is government produced by Satter, Ellyn Daniels, Will O’Connor, Daniel Ginsberg, Andrew Beck, Bill Way, Elliott Whitton, Eva Maria Daniells, Philipp Engelhorn, and Caitlin Gold. Producers are Noah Stahl, Brad Becker-Parton, Riva Marker, and Greg Nobile.
