Debut author-illustrator Tate Godwin has bought her first center grade graphic novels, particularly Operation: Cover-Up and Operation: Rendezvous.
Debut author-illustrator Tate Godwin first center grade graphic novels are Operation: Cover-Up and Operation: Rendezvous, through which three unlikely buddies navigate the difficult and comical terrain of fifth grade, discover ways to be good buddies, and stay true to themselves.
Erinn Pascal at Andrews McMeel has purchased world English rights to Operation: Cover-Up and Operation: Rendezvous in a two-book deal, to be revealed within the spring of 2025 and summer season of 2026, respectively. Tate Godwin’s agent Lori Steel at Red Fox Literary, negotiated the deal.

Andrews McMeel Publishing, previously Andrews, McMeel and Parker and Andrews and McMeel, publishes books, calendars, and associated toys and is part of Andrews McMeel Universal, and is the final writer of books of comedian strips produced by Andrews McMeel Syndication together with The Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes and FoxTrot in addition to collections for some comedian strips revealed by different syndicates.
The growth of youngsters’s graphic novels is fuelling all method of publishers extending into the comics medium. Right now, it looks like an infinite market that’s being tapped into and creating longstanding comedian e book readers for many years to come back. It isn’t for nothing that children and YA graphic novels in bookstores are being known as the newsstand of the twenty-first century, and the longer term readers of the medium are being shaped and created proper right here, proper now.
