Netflix has launched a teaser trailer for the upcoming supernatural ghost-hunting journey sequence Lockwood & Co. This appears to be like prefer it’ll be a fantastic present! I like this sort of stuff, and the better part is that it comes from director Joe Cornish who beforehand introduced us movies equivalent to Attack the Block and The Kid Who Would Be King. He tells tremendous enjoyable tales!
In this sequence, a “girl with extraordinary psychic abilities joins two gifted teen boys at a small ghost-hunting agency to fight the many deadly spirits haunting London.”
The teaser under is a clip from the sequence that options an encounter that two characters have with a malevolent spirit and it’s fairly the swashbuckling journey scene! The two characters face off with a ghost and as one is in peril the different is combating off the ghost with a sword. I find it irresistible!
The sequence is predicated on the supernatural novels by Jonathan Stroud, and Cornish is the excellent expertise to convey these tales to life! Cornish beforehand talked about the sequence saying: “[A ghost] can make you jump or it can scare, but in terms of actual physical threat, movies sometimes struggle. Suddenly, you’re in a new kind of ghost story, where you can arm yourself against a ghost and use skill and intelligence and tactics to outsmart it.”
The sequence stars Ruby Stokes as Lucy Carlyle, Cameron Chapman as Anthony Lockwood, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati as George Karim. The film is about to be launched on January twenty seventh, 2023.
