Teddy Swims introduced a “Cruel Summer” to the winter season on the BBC Radio 1 on Thursday (Jan. 10), performing a canopy of Taylor Swift’s Lover hit on the Live Lounge.
The 31-year-old singer put a soulful spin on the observe, including his raspy vocals to the hook. “It’s new, the shape of your body / It’s blue, the feeling I’ve got / And it’s ooh, whoa, oh / It’s a cruel summer,” he sang.
