New York Times bestselling creator Terry McMillan (How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Waiting to Exhale) has partnered with Lifetime to govt produce a number of new unique motion pictures underneath the banner, “Terry McMillan Presents.” Her new motion pictures for the community, which will probably be introduced at a later time, will concentrate on the love and lives of African American girls.
Lifetime beforehand collaborated with McMillan on the 2014 TV film A Day Late and a Dollar Short that includes Whoopi Goldberg, Mekhi Phifer, Anika Noni Rose, Kimberly Elise, Tichina Arnold and Ving Rhames.
