The 2023 Eisner Awards Winners

The 2023 Eisner Awards have been held tonight within the Indigo Ballroom on the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. DC Comics was the massive winner of the night, with 8 awards for the writer’s titles and creators, together with Best Continuing Series for Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo‘s Nightwing, Best Single Issue/One-Shot for Tom King and Mitch Gerads‘s Batman: One Bad Day – The Riddler, and Best Short Story for “Finding Batman” by Kevin Conroy and J. Bone.

Individuals who received a number of awards embrace Kate Beaton, who took residence the Best Writer/Artist and Best Graphic Memoir Awards for Ducks: Two Years within the Oil Sands; Sana Takeda, who took residence Best Painter/Multimedia Artist (inside artwork) and Best Graphic Album – New for The Night Eaters, Book 1: She Eats the Night; Greg Smallwood, who took residence Best Penciller/Inker and Best Limited Series for The Human Target; amongst others.
