The look ahead to HBO’s extremely anticipated “The Last of Us” collection is sort of over. On Dec. 3, HBO Max launched the terrifying full-length trailer for the brand new apocalyptic journey. In it stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, each “Game of Thrones” alums (although their characters, Oberyn Martell and Lyanna Mormont, by no means interacted), embark on a harmful journey throughout an America ravaged by monsters.
“The Last of Us” is predicated on the bestselling, award-winning video-game collection of the identical title. In the collection, Pascal’s Joel is tasked with smuggling Ramsey’s Ellie by way of a postapocalyptic, zombie-infected United States. Throughout the trailer, the unlikely duo face many risks — and never simply zombies-like contaminated people.
In an interview with GQ in April, Pascal revealed that, although he loves the collection, he wasn’t excellent at enjoying the online game. “It’s so sad, I haven’t any skill,” the actor stated. “I tried, you know. And then it was only a matter of minutes before I had to hand it over to my nephew. It really takes a specific kind of skill, and I don’t have it.”
Even although Pascal admires the sport, he knew he did not need to completely imitate it, both. “I found Joel so impressive — I found the whole of it such a visually impressive experience,” he stated. “And then I got worried that I would want to imitate too much, which I think could be right in some circumstances, and then a mistake in others. So I just wanted to create a healthy distance, and for that to be more in the hands of [show co-writer] Craig Mazin and [game writer and show co-writer] Neil Druckmann.”
“The Last of Us” was filmed in Calgary, Alberta, in 2021, and HBO is planning to launch it in early 2023. Keep studying forward for every thing we learn about “The Last of Us,” together with the trailer and solid.
