Nigerian comic, Afamefuna Igwemba popularly referred to as Klint Da Drunk, has taken a swipe at industrial banks following the scarcity of naira notes in circulation.
Recall that Central Bank of Nigeria fastened Friday, February 10, because the deadline for using previous naira notes.
However, the Supreme Court in a ruling had mentioned the deadline ought to be halted owing to the brand new notes shortage that has left tens of millions of Nigerians unable to entry money at banks and ATM factors nationwide.
Klint Da Drunk, in his response whereas addressing Labour Party (LP) supporters on the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), in Lagos, on Saturday, mentioned
“Nigeria is a country where the only bank that is working is power bank.”
“You used ₦2,000 to withdraw ₦2,000. So in other words, you only withdraw paper. What kind of thing is that?” He continued.
The comic additional urged the electorates to vote properly within the forthcoming February 25 presidential election.
“If you go to vote, do not vote for People Deceiving People. Some other people brought somebody that is doing us… and he knows how our condition be. And now they want to bring us another problem candidate. What we want is LP, Peter Obi and Datti,” he mentioned.
