The trailer for The Other Black Girl has been launched by Hulu, and y’all, it seems so good.
The new sequence is an adaptation of the bestselling novel The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalila Harris, which has been described as a cross between the film Get Out and The Stepford Wives. It follows 26-year-old Nella Rogers, the one Black worker at guide publishing firm Wagner Books. She’s over the micro aggressions and feeling alone when she receives a blessing within the type of new rent Hazel.
Suddenly Nella has one other Black girl to commiserate and kiki with, however the good emotions don’t final lengthy. She begins to get odd notes telling her to “LEAVE WAGNOR,” and realizes that there’s something depraved afoot. And that Hazel isn’t who she thought she was.
