Sony Pictures has launched the first trailer for the highly-anticipated horror film Insidious: The Red Door, which goes to take us again deep into The Further. Insidious: The Red Door is about ten years after the final film. In the story, “Josh Lambert (Wilson) heads east to drop his son Dalton (Simpkins) off at an idyllic, ivy-covered university. However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.”
It’s defined, “To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh (Patrick Willson) and a college-aged Dalton (Ty Simpkins) must go deeper into The Further than ever before.”
Wilson additionally directed the movie from a script written by Scott Teems (Halloween Kills), and it’s based mostly on a narrative by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man).
