The Revenge! IT’S JEFF Infinity Comic returns to Marvel Unlimited

It’s Jeff, the Infinity Comic starring the irresistible Jeff the Landshark by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru, has returned! The first three episodes of the brand new batch of scrolling comics was launched on Marvel Unlimited in the present day, Friday, September 9^th 2022: “Cone of Doom,” “Fire-Eater,” and “The Jeff-Verse.”

Jeff initially appeared in West Coast Avengers (2019) #7 by Thompson, Daniele Di Nicuolo, Tríona Tree Farrell, and Joe Caramagna. The diminutive landshark was created by M.O.D.O.Ok., throughout a plotline that noticed him disguised as B.R.O.D.O.Ok. Rather than making an attempt to clarify additional, it’s most likely sooner if you happen to simply learn WCA (2019) #1 by Thompson, Stefano Caselli, Farrell, and Caramagna to study extra.

While B.R.O.D.O.Ok.’s different landsharks prompted plenty of issues for Santa Monica, the lovable Jeff was lower from a distinct fabric. Gwen Poole adopted him, and he grew to become her longtime pet (though he has often visited with Deadpool, for cancellation-avoidance functions).

After an preliminary run of twelve episodes, it concluded with a Thanksgiving-themed story on November 25^th, 2021. A second batch of episodes was promptly introduced, and now in September 2022, Jeff has lastly returned.

As at all times, the collection artwork by Gurihiru is each lovely and full of loads of Marvel Comics Easter eggs (with a particular emphasis on Gwenpool, whose first run was characterised by the duo’s inimitable artwork). And as anticipated, Thompson’s scripts proceed to land the landshark in laugh-out-loud conditions, even with out the inclusion of dialogue.
