Emo followers and baseball followers unite: the Yankees have launched a hype video for Opening Day and it contains a My Chemical Romance traditional.
The MLB shared an emotional two-minute visible that includes followers returning to Yankee Stadium — households and mates, dad and mom taking their children, children high-fiving each other in baseball jerseys — all to the tune of the emo outfit’s 2006 anthem “Welcome to the Black Parade.”

In-between the My Chem monitor, a voiceover drums up pleasure for the return of the Yankees: “For generations, raucous cheers have risen from the Bronx. Full-throated crowds lifting players to become legends. Time marches on but the games continue.”
Also featured within the visible is historic recreation and crowd footage from Yankees video games all through the years. Eventually, footage of the Yankees celebrating their wins hits the display throughout “Welcome to the Black Parade’s” grand finale.
