Thiago Silva has thanked Chelsea supervisor Mauricio Pochettino from pulling him out of his “comfort zone” this season.

“The finish of my profession is approaching and it’s not simple,” he told Sky Sports Italia. “I’ve to assume if I retire or if I proceed, and the place I’m going. There’s the household, I’ve two sons who play for Chelsea.
“At the moment I’ll take the opportunity to play and make the most of this last year of my contract at Chelsea. But I’m very happy and proud of the career I’ve had, of what I’m doing now at 39 years old.
“I’ve ready all my life to take advantage of of my work, soccer is my ardour. Surely after I retire I’ll proceed on this world, I don’t know the way but.”
