Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos gave the ruling on Wednesday.

In a video clip through which she apologising for her actions, Okoye stated she wanted the cash to pay her home lease, including that desperation pushed her into performing in such a fashion.
Okoye stated,
“What occurred was {that a} good friend of mine, Fortune Ibe, stated if I ought to come out and speak about Mrs Eniola Badmus, he was going to ship me N200k as a result of I instructed him about my lease.
“That was what prompted the video. I am so sorry; I just did that because I was desperate to pay my house rent. I just did it because of the money.”
Meanwhile, following Okoye’s arrest, Badmus rejected pleas to settle the matter out of courtroom as she insisted on charging her for maligning her hard-earned repute.
