Todd McFarlane is launching a brand new promotion this month referred to as “Spawnuary” wherein he challenges artists to submit speculative cowl art work

Todd McFarlane is launching a brand new promotion this month referred to as “Spawnuary”, wherein he’s difficult artists to submit speculative cowl art work for his line of Spawn-related comedian books. At the top of the month, Todd McFarlane will select his favourites and have them as variant covers on the problems of his printed comics.

“During each week of SPAWNUARY, you’ll have the opportunity to create your OWN cover based on SPAWN UNIVERSI characters. At the end of the month, TODD MCFARLANE will choose 4 of his FAVORITE submissions, and feature them as VARIANT COVER, on SPAWN, GUNSLINGER, SCORCHED, and KING SPAWN!”

1/1 – 1/7: SPAWN
1/8 – 1/14: GUNSLINGER
1/15 – 1/21: SCORCHED
1/22 – 1/28: ANY SPAWN UNIVERSE VILLAIN
1/28 – 1/31: WINNERS PICKED
All entries have to be created on TMP Official Digital Blue Line Sketch Cover.

How many entries can I submit per week? As many as you need! Winners might be based mostly on expertise, not submissions.
Can I submit covers for every week of Spawnuary?– We encourage it! Although, winners will solely have one in all their covers chosen.
When will my cowl be featured? In the third and fourth quarter of 2024!

Can I create non-digital work on the supplied cowl? Of course! Just print your copy of the supplied cowl, create, scan with a HIGH RESOLUTION SCANNER, and add the hi-res file.
Can I submit a photograph of my art work – Unfortunately not. All submissions have to be HIGH RESOLUTION.
