Tom Parker‘s widow Kelsey Parker has revealed her grandfather, who was “like a father” to her, has died of cancer months after she misplaced her husband to the illness.
Posting to Instagram, Kelsey shared a throwback photograph of herself along with her grandfather, revealing he had died after a battle with leukemia.
“I’m very sad to share that we lost my beloved Grandad,” Kelsey captioned the publish. “Peter Morris. My Grandad. My hero.

“He was like a Dad to me and raised me and my brother Sammy as his personal. He set us on the precise path together with his data of life and I’m perpetually grateful to him. The funniest, wittiest, caring man identified.”
This sad news comes nine months after Kelsey lost her The Wanted singer husband to stage four glioblastoma brain cancer.
Tom was diagnosed with brain cancer in October 2020 and was 33 when he died on March 30, leaving behind Kelsey and their two young children, Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two.

Kelsey added that her grandfather “was so pleased with his household” and that her children “adored their Great Grandad Peter and he adored them.”
She ended the post with a sweet line: “I do know you are up there now with Tom and your boy Neil having a glass of pink. This is not goodbye, simply good night time.”
Kelsey’s post comes just after news emerged that she’s reportedly found love again.
Multiple media outlets reported late last month that Kelsey had grown close with 39-year-old electrician Sean Boggans.

Boggans was said to have been by Kelsey’s side at her friend’s wedding in South London’s Greenwich last month, with the new couple having grown close after being introduced through mutual friends.
Yet, some doubt has been thrown on the reports given Kelsey was photographed wearing her wedding ring on the red carpet at The Sun‘s Who Cares Wins awards in London on November 27.
Kelsey herself is yet to address the reports, and has spent most of the last few weeks promoting her new ITVBe show Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom.
