Tomorrow sees the publication of Amazing Spider-Man #23 by Zeb Wells and John Romita, from Marvel Comics. The solicitation asks, “WHAT DID PETER DO?! We opened this series with a question. The centerpiece of the answer is a flat-out fight.” But the struggle is not with the Fantastic Four, as the duvet suggests. Okay, it’s a bit. But there’s another person Spider-Man has his eye on. Captain America.
Of course, he has been right here a few occasions earlier than in his personal sequence in The Amazing Spider-Man Vol 1 #187…
And then once more a number of a long time later in The Amazing Spider-Man #534 for Civil War.
Even within the films.
But they have been at all times half-hearted. Spider-Man wasn’t completely in it. Too a lot respect for Captain America, pulling his punches, not committing to the bit. But in tomorrow’s Amazing Spider-Man #23? He has one thing to struggle for and Captain America is in his manner.
And that is a punch. A Romita punch. It lands fairly, propelled with Spider-Strength and at a larger velocity than a non-desperate Peter Parker may need despatched it. Of course, Captain America has an unbreakable adamantium/vibranium alloy protect that may’t be damaged and absorbs influence.
But Peter Parker does not at all times should punch. He does produce other superpowers at his fingertips. Literally on this case.
He sticks to partitions. And symbolic Americana shields. A pleasant little trick that, perhaps, out of costume, Captain America forgot about. And Peter Parker is pulling no punches. Amazing Spider-Man #23 by Zeb Wells and John Romita is revealed by Marvel Comics tomorrow. I believe this is likely to be a factor. Is this what Peter did?
