Amazon Prime Video is lastly releasing the supernatural horror film Run Sweetheart Run. I had the alternative to observe this film at Sundance three years in the past, and it’s nice to see that it’s being launched. I loved this film!
The story follows a hard-working single mom named Shari who simply broke free from a nasty relationship and is ready up by her boss on a date with a shopper of his. She’s very enthusiastic about the date, and he’s very charming. It looks like all the pieces is clicking between the two and it’s the starting of what appears like a beautiful relationship. That is, till, he invitations her into his residence and tries to kill her!
This is the official synopsis:
Initially apprehensive when her boss insists she meet with certainly one of his most vital shoppers, single mother Cherie is relieved and excited when she meets charismatic Ethan. The influential businessman defies expectations and sweeps Cherie off her toes. But at the finish of the night time, when the two are alone collectively, he reveals his true, violent nature. Battered and terrified, she flees for her life, starting a relentless sport of cat-and-mouse with a blood-thirsty assailant hell-bent on her utter destruction. In this edge-of-your-seat darkish thriller, Cherie finds herself in the crosshairs of a conspiracy stranger and extra evil than she may have ever imagined.
In my overview of the movie, I mentioned: “The movie was very creative in how the elements of the story that were introduced early in the film played out over the course of the movie. The script and story were sharp, and it was filled with violence, blood, and gory action. So if you enjoy that kind of stuff, you’ll love the movie.”
The film was written and directed by Shana Feste and it stars Ella Balinska (Charlie’s Angels), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), Aml Ameen (The Maze Runner), Dayo Okeniyi (Shades of Blue) and Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), with Clark Gregg (The Avengers) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (Star Trek Beyond, House of Sand and Fog).
Run Sweetheart Run arrives on Prime Video on October 28, 2022.
