A trailer has arrived for one of many best-reviewed movies out of Sundance 2023. Written and directed by Celine Song, “Past Lives” sees Greta Lee reuniting with a childhood sweetheart after spending many years aside.
“There is a word in Korean: In-Yun. It means providence, or fate,” says Nora (Lee) in the spot. She and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo) first met as classmates in South Korea. Their paths diverged when Nora’s household emigrated from the nation. Now residing in New York City and married to an American man (John Magaro), Nora receives a go to from her former flame.
